The Road Rat Car Window Decals Set
Our second set of stickers is for your car. Designed to fit on the inside of your car’s glass they’re white vinyl transfer stickers measuring between 70 and 150mm. Top is our masthead, famously fashioned from decades-old wooden block type in the font Futura Bold. We didn’t like the way it looked — all square edges and knife-edge corners — with screen fonts so we set out to find a softer way to present our identity. #AThingForCars has been our slogan from the get go, describing both how we feel about cars and the magazine. Or is it a book? Or a journal. Lastly, and if you want to be more cryptic, there’s our enigmatic (rat’s) ‘skull and cross tools’ logo.
The Road Rat Sticker Set
At last! The Road Rat sticker set. For your laptop, notebook, suitcase… the stickers you’ve been asking for since the start. Ten stickers, featuring our masthead, our #AThingForCars slogan, the ‘Mystic Mac’ from the cover of Issue 3 and the ‘Warhol Miura’ from Issue 4. There’s a ‘red five’ from Marc Newson’s ‘Brescia Condensed’ also from Issue 5 and from Issue 2, a spaceframe ‘911’. And just for good measure, there’s a Richard Petty ’43’ from Issue 4. Measuring from 40mm to 150mm, they’re manufactured in solid vinyl with a gloss finish. Shipped, retro-style in a cellophane bag with a cardboard hangar, they make perfect holiday stocking fillers.
