Our offices are closed from 22nd December to 3rd January but our warehouse is operating and sending out orders between 27th & 29th December.

We are proud to say that we fulfil and ship The Road Rat all around the world.

Each issue weighs over 1.1 Kg/2.2lbs and we ship it in a sturdy cardboard box to reduce the risk of damage in transit.

Please allow up 3 business days for processing prior to shipping.

Delivery times vary by destination. All packages ship from the United Kingdom. 
Shipping prices are weight based per order. Below is a guide based upon our products in the basket.

RETURNS

Magazines
In relation to Magazine Issues you have no statutory right to change your mind and cancel the contract.

However, as a goodwill gesture, we offer you the right to change your mind and cancel the contract in respect of unopened Magazine Issues, without giving any reason, during the period ending at the end of 14 days after the day on which you receive, or a third party indicated by you (other than the carrier) receives, the Magazine Issue.

If you receive a damaged magazine then we will require photographs of the damaged magazine and the packaging.  We will offer a replacement or refund.

Magazine Subscription
In relation to Magazine Subscriptions, you have the right to change your mind and cancel the contract, without giving any reason, during the period ending at the end of 14 days after the day on which you receive, or a third party indicated by you (other than the carrier) receives, the first of the four (4) individual issues which forms part of the Magazine Subscription.

This is separate to your right to cancel Magazine Subscription renewals, details of which are contained within the PRICING AND PAYMENT section of our Terms and Conditions.

Merchandise
In relation to Merchandise, you have the right to change your mind and cancel the contract, without giving any reason, during the period ending at the end of 14 days after the day on which you receive, or a third party indicated by you (other than the carrier) receives, the Merchandise.

HOW TO RETURN A PRODUCT TO US (INCLUDING IF YOU HAVE CHANGED YOUR MIND)

Please let us know that you wish to make a return by doing the following:

  • Email us at enquiries@theroadrat.com, providing your full name, details of the Order, why you wish to return, your phone number and your email address.

We will contact you with a returns address and you are responsible for returning the item to us at your cost. 

Once received and examined we will refund you the price you paid for the products (excluding delivery costs) by the method you used for payment. However, if you are exercising your right to change your mind:

  • We may reduce your refund of the Price (excluding delivery costs) to reflect any reduction in the value of the Products, if this has been caused by your handling them in an unreasonable way which would not be permitted in a shop (to be determined in our reasonable discretion). If we refund you the Price paid before we are able to inspect the Products and later discover you have handled them in an unacceptable way, you must pay us an appropriate amount by way of compensation (to be determined in our reasonable discretion).
  • The maximum refund for delivery costs will be the cost of delivery by the least expensive delivery method we offer. For example, if we offer delivery of a product within 3-5 days at one cost but you choose to have the product delivered within 24 hours at a higher cost, then we will only refund what you would have paid for the cheaper delivery option.
  • We do not offer partial refunds for pre-paid subscription after the first issue has shipped.

We will make any refunds due to you as soon as possible. If you are exercising your right to change your mind then your refund will be made within 14 days from the day on which we receive the Product back from you.

IF THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE PRODUCT

If you have any questions or complaints about a Product you have bought, please contact us. You can email us at enquiries@theroadrat.com.

We can only replace Products if they are damaged or defective. If you think you are eligible for a replacement, please email us at enquiries@theroadrat.com and we will give you the returns address. We will pay the cost of postage where the Product is proven to be damaged or defective (to be determined in our reasonable discretion) and will issue a replacement free of charge.
