Watercolour by Paul Howse, former design manager at McLaren Automotive (P1, 720S, Artura), showing the overall winner of the 1938 Le Mans 24 Hour race, the Delahaye 135 CS driven by Eugène Chaboud and Jean Trémoulet. One of a series of eight commissioned to celebrate the centenary of the Le Mans 24 Hour race and originally reproduced in The Road Rat Edition 14, published in June 2023.
Limited edition of 50, each signed and numbered by the artist. Approximately A3 (exact dimensions may differ very slightly on account of the unfinished deckle edge which is applied by hand). Cotton-rich, 300gsm ‘German Etching’ paper with a discreet Road Rat ‘Ratino’ logo embossed in the lower left hand corner. All prints ship rolled, protected in acid-free tissue.
